I am coming…!

On 10 June 2006, I told mummy to get a pregnancy test kit… so that she and daddy would know that I was in utero and just starting to make myself comfortable. They were preparing to leave for a trip to China and well, the “+” sign appearing on the test window threw mummy into a state of shock.

She even went to get another test kit… just to confirm the results. Of course, the results were positive, or more accurately, read “PREGNANT” in no uncertain terms. Mummy kind of freaked out… She went to call grandma up whilst still packing and was trying to calm herself down. Her mind was a mess actually. I know because I am inside her, see?

Daddy seemed happy. They both prayed before they left for the airport. A little muted, trying to recover from the happy news. He started to worry about mummy not having enough to eat so off to MacDonalds he went and returned with fresh milk. Nice…

Anyway, it has been almost 9 months since and together, we have made much progress. As of 26th January 2007, I weigh an estimated 2.7kg and have turned myself down. I have not engaged yet. I am not telling when I am going to come out of this warm cubbyhole here… It is meant to be a surprise! The good gynae has told my parents that I am to be expected out on 17th February but we all know the element of surprise is quite fun. I am getting quite good at this trick too. But I must admit, it is getting rather cramped in here.

So, watch and wait with us all ok? And yes, I have a name. But I am not revealing it just yet. Wait and bide your time. Patience is a virtue you know. Or so I have heard.
