It can get kind of boring in here… nothing much to do. Heck, I cannot tell whether the sun is shining out there or Mr Moon and his entourage of stars are up on duty already. I can only make small guesses. If I can hear daddy’s voice for a long period of time, it usually means it is night outside. Otherwise, if it is constantly mummy’s voice, it is highly likely to be day.

Mummy has applied for leave already. She has taken a week’s leave in advance of my EDD so that she can have a break before I come along. She knows though I might just want to appear earlier… so she is bracing herself for it. Daddy too… He has this funny idea that I will make my appearance when the semester ends, just in time as he puts it. Well, we shall see what happens WHEN it happens.

Last Friday I overheard the nurses at the clinic making an appointment with my parents for this coming Friday… that is erhmm, 2 days’ time. Nowadays, the doctor gets my mummy hooked up to this machine for something called CTG scan. Apparently it monitors my heartbeats and also whether there are any contractions. Mummy is usually a tad uncomfortable with this test although all she really has to do is lie flat there. Something about being forced to stay in one position all the time? Sigh… I am stuck in one small area all the time! It is even worse since about one month ago. This space just does not increase to match the needs of a growing baby. There really is not much “space” to talk about. I do hope the promised land outside is a lot bigger. Having my limbs tucked under is not my idea of fun.
