So we added more vcds to his (ever) growing collection. A mixture of Barney, Sesame Street and Winnie the Pooh, a smattering of Max Lucado… and we have a likely four eyed monster on our hands.

That said, some of the videos are really good. And no, it is not because they have been drummed into my head.

ps: is there such a thing as a vcd / dvd changer? Ala those cd changers for the cars? You know, the sort you load 5 cds in and they just cycle?

  1. What my hubby does is to convert everything into computer format and load up to something which is like an external HDD cum server kind of thing, which is in turn linked to the tv. So instead of putting the discs into a player, just scroll and click like you would a computer file. I am sure your hubby is geeky enough to know what this is about. :P

Do you have this problem? We have to duplicate all our children’s VDC/DVDs. Otherwise, it can be quite a headache when the discs are too damaged to be played and the younger kids cannot understand why and start demanding for the show.

  2. Hey! That’s quite a collection there, considering a while back, you mentioned you have started jayden on any dvds yet. It’s a great way to keep them entertained though some mommies would frown on this method.

  3. Angela : I think I know what you are talking about. I’m tempted to SLS to grab the necessary stuff now. I’d ‘bug’ you if I’m lost. :D

re spoilage, so far no issue. i think as long as the purple dinosaur is in it, he is fine. me on the other hand, i wish the discs WERE spoilt.

MG : lol. we had started Jayden for a while already. just that there was a healthy balance of ‘others’ and Barney. now the percentage is extremely skewed. usually we watch it together (hence the memorising on my part) and during ‘meals’. usually.
