solitary

As I was working on completing orders on Sunday night, Solitary V2 aired. It was kind of freaky to be hearing Val speak. The ex-psychologist student in me felt really creeped out by the task that the game contestants were made to go through.
Seriously, even as I am not a fan of reality tv, this show tops my list of insane and wacky shows dreamed up by the television networks. I wonder how it even made it to season 2. And erhmm, I wonder why Channel 5 shows such tv series so soon after its original air in the US, as compared to more interesting ones like House. Ok, you can see where my loyalty lies.
*creeped out*
Solitary touts itself as a social experiment in which a group of individuals are confined to individual cells, rendering their entire time spent in solitary confinement. They are reduced to a number and they are called that throughout their length of stay. They are put through various tasks and the first person who calls it quits may be eliminated from the game.
The last person standing takes home a cash prize of $500000.
