So at the grand age of 14months and 1 week old, Jayden had his first proper haircut. He screamed and yelled, cried and fought so hard that I think the salon might want to reconsider having any more young clients. He sat on the booster seat, squirming away. Tugged at the cloth they placed round his neck. We tried without it, him sitting on my lap and eventually gave up to just going at it while he twisted all over in our arms.
The result? The latest and possibly youngest army recruit. Ok maybe not youngest.
He finally calmed down much later. Even to the extent of wanting my Ya Kun toast.
Traumatic… though I do not know who was the most traumatised … :- Jayden, the hairdresser, me or the other client who was stuck to the chair as she was having her hair cut at the time of the incident. I think we should stay clear of Compasspoint for a bit. And maybe keep haircuts at bay for the time being.
