*sniff* *cough cough*

So erhmm, the fever is gone but the coughing and blocked nose are still here. Not good. He kept waking up throughout the night. He did not sleep till 5am, waking every 5 minutes or so. Every time I put him down again, he woke up. He finally fell asleep lying beside me on our bed, head on my arm.

His breathing was heavy and laborious. And I later found my arm coated with erhmm, mucus.

Poor boy.

We fight three times a day now. Three times a day when it comes to medicine feeding time. We will attempt to hold him down and he would struggle. He would spit the little that managed to get into his mouth out.

We finally learnt. Sneak it into his milk. Mix the cough syrup together with the cold, stir it well in the milk and he would drink it up. He is a funny one that boy. Anything in the milk, he would take. On its own, he would not. I guess a spoonful mouthful of sugar milk makes the medicine go down.

And so the battle continues.
