about a boy

Angels at the foot,
And Angels at the head,
And like a curly little lamb
My pretty babe in bed.

It has been 13 months but I still like to stand and watch the boy sleep. A pause before bedtime, to stand by the cot and say a little prayer before I enter dreamland to find him at play with the sheep.
