or the lack of it. We were shopping at OG Chinatown on New Year’s Day… with what felt like half of Singapore. The escalators were pretty packed and the lifts most definitely were. What got on my nerves were the inconsiderate families who insisted on rushing into the lift even though we were trying to get out. And the stupid group of primary school going children who stood rooted to the floor at the doors.

With such discourteous people, of course no progress was being made. Got fed up and shoo-ed them aside with the pram. Jayden was safely tucked away in it and bull-dozing across legs was somewhat satisfying. I have no patience for such people.

It is bad enough that most do not give up seats to the pregnant women (nor those carrying young children!), ignoring prams and standing delibrately there obstructing the way adds fuel to fire. Perhaps it is time to bring back the courtesy campaign?
