Can every Wednesday be a public holiday? I think we all enjoyed the mid week respite. It felt so much like a Saturday!

Recovery in Progress
It’s been one crazy hectic week. Of poop and puke. We are all down with stomach flu, taking turns to fall like dominos.
The kids have almost fully recovered and are largely back to their chirpy selves while me and mum are struggling to keep queasy tummies at ease and mind the two bundles of energy.
I’m rethinking my previous idea that fever is the worst thing possible. I used to think being sick was the worst thing. Then I became mum. Being sick with sick kids to look after was much worse. Right now, being sick with stomach flu sort of tops the charts. And really, I don’t quite want to push the boundaries any more.
To health.
When you spend way too much time going through the alphabets, your mind starts wandering. So here are some prototypes. I’m just glad to say we have officially finished both upper and lower caps of the alphabet. Phew.
He still needs a bit of prompting for some letters but generally, it is recognisable and not simply chicken scrawl. Whimsical letters are so much more fun. Well, at least that’s something nice that came out of endless days of horror.
On both our parts.
I’m glad though that he has ‘matured’ enough to want to write. And we are progressing forward to other random activities incorporating letters. I guess now that he can write, he has the incentive to? As for (not so) babyK, she is often found doodling in colour.
(And don’t get me started on Chinese).
