At the Waterfront

A Visit to Woodlands Waterfront

Last weekend we camped overnight at the in-laws. And seeing we actually wake before 9 (heh!), we went ahead with the plan to hit Woodlands Waterfront. It was a little weird being in Singapore and hearing almost everyone speak with a ‘Malaysian’ accent. But then again, it was that close to the Causeway and free. Can’t say it was a surprise.

I do believe it is safe to say that we all loved the playground. Big, clean and didyouseetheropebridge? Must say that Jayden took us by surprise by wanting to climb it. And twice.

Kath was stuck on the ground, looking up. Too small. Not that she minded. There was another age appropriate playground for her.

The refurbished jetty was nice too. Provided a better vantage view of the surroundings. Was still relatively clean and you could see the Causeway as well as Johor quite clearly. Nice place to sit out the jam. Well, if you weren’t there in the hot afternoon that is.

K was somewhat freaking out at the waters around here. *must grab something*

I do think we’d be back. This time, hopefully with tricycles in tow. And more water.
