Judging by the ruckus these two make when they play downstairs, I’m rather thankful we aren’t staying on the low floors. Of course there are other pros and cons to consider when you stay way up high, but that’s for another story.
Right now, I’m just thankful the weekend is here.
Got it?
We had some expired flour and food colouring left from way back when. And finally got down to using them in making our own Playdoh. Non-toxic (I think, seeing, well, it is expired after all) but really, the huge amount of salt that went into making these is probably enough deterrent.
Now to add more colours!

come on and pucker up!
Jayden is in one of ‘em funny face phases and Kath is forever emulating her big bro. So you end up with weird photo moments like these that are going to be so much fun to hold ransom against.
These two are quite different yet similar in so many ways. They play alongside each other and are more than willing to gang up against ‘outsiders’. Sometimes we forget that there’s a 2.5year age gap between the two, and that Kath is not yet 2. (Soon though, in August!)
Which brings to mind weaning. With Jay, it was simple. He switched to formula milk easy. He took to the cup well but with Kath, she’s not going down easy.
Many a late night is a result of her waking for milk. For comfort really. And she takes rejection with much displeasure; thrashing about in her bed and not falling back asleep.
Bleahz. I hope it ends soon. I’d like my solid block of sleep back.
